SFGate: Former S.F. Supervisor Gonzalez to run with Nader

Matt!!! WTF?!! My heart is broken, seriously. Sure, in San Francisco he pushed Gavin to the left (and exposed Gavin as the machine-politics tool that he is) and came this close to being our first Green Party Mayor. *Sigh* . BUT this the entire country we're dealing with here! Why why WHY couldn't he have run for mayor again last November? There was no viable progressive candidate and so of course Gavin breezed through with another term. I'm still embarassed about that... I mean, Chicken fucking John. Anyway.

agreed. the only rationale that i can think of is that he was drawn in by the prospect of increasing his name i.d. for a future run down the line-- maybe for congress? regardless-- it's a bad idea.

in other SF news: the Mission is awesome.

Yeah, I would love to see Matt in congress, but he is only going to make people hate him with this crap. And thanks for the link! I heard about that too but haven't been in the Mission to see it in person... I wonder how long before they take it down...
